As title said, it's unbelievable. I enjoyed to watch long range shots.
Very informative series. Very useful information. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a rifle and how to modify it at home to make it more accurate. The explanation on the ballistics and the effect of the wind is very useful. The host does a great job.
This is the "nuts and bolts" video John refers to in his first video "Beyond Belief" Long Range Shooting." John reveals how he systematically provides a way of making long range shots at game that any shooter can use to improve his shooting accuracy by using the methods and software John uses. I got the ExBal software and was amazed at its accuracy in determining down range bullet flight. If you want to know how John is able to roll an elk, deer, or antelope at extreme long range with one shot, this is definitely the video you're looking for. All the tips John offers are based on his experience, and now on mine too. Strongly recommended system for long range shooters! You'll want to watch videos #2 and #3 more than once. Lots of information.
Unbelievably good! I have not seen this type of shooting since sniper school.
Great information - well worth the time to view.
Lot's of good info, but waaay too long. Too much talking, Burns is very knowledgable but needs a scriptwriter. Zzzzzz
I enjoyed watching the set of DVDs. Just soo much info here.
Some of the information was not useful (like how to carry the rifle on a saddle) but many parts were useful.
I liked the step by step customization of the factory rifle to a 1000 yard shooting rifle.
I'd rent it again.
Found the series very interesting. Full of good information, and tweaks to improve your rifle's performance. Longest I will shoot will be approx 400yds., but I want to know it will do the job when I need it. Only negative it is long, watched it in several segments, went back and took notes on some of it.
Lots of talking, but some good tips on how to practice without ruining your shoulder or your brand new barrel.
It's amazing to shoot animals that far and drop them in their tracks.
I enjoyed watching this movie but didn't learn too much. According to the video, the main secret to shooting as far as they do is using the specific scope that they use. Otherwise, there was no mention of rifle caliber or ammo selection, and little practice techniques. It is a very motivating movie as I really want to hit the range after watching this. But after watching this movie, I still have the same questions as I did before.
I watched parts of the video on, "The Best In The West," show. I was intrigued by how one could shoot at those distances. So I decided to see if I could get a copy of the DVD.
THIS DVD LACKS ANY SUBSTANTIVE INFORMATION ON HOW TO MAKE LONG RANGE SHOTS. IT IS FULL OF FLUFF ON BACKPACKS, HORSES, BINOCULARS, RANGE FINDERS, ETC. THERE IS VIRTUALLY NO TECHNICAL INFORMATION (SHOT ELEVATION, WINDAGE ADJUSTMENT, BALLISTICS, BULLET COEFF, ETC.) IN A COUPLE OF SCENES YOU WATCH THE PRESENTER MAKE A FEW LONG DISTANCE SHOTS, BUT WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION ON HOW THE RIFLE, SCOPE, AMMO, ETC. INFLUENCE THE NATURE OF THE SHOT. I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW YOU COULD FILL TWO MORE DVDs WITH THE SAME NONSENSE.
