In this video, you'll learn to render wisps of smoke, fur, metal, wrapping paper texture, hair, wood grain, background textures, water, clouds, snow, feathers, stone textures with the stipple technique, orange peel texture, a sky, and a space scene with starts, nebula, starbursts, and constellations. You'll also learn to use a new stencil burner pro, rubber cement for special and unusual textures, markers, circle templates, proper use and types of razor knife cutting, sponges, erasers for highlighting, mylar and drafting film, sandpaper for a variety of applications, spray adhesive, frisket film and masks, airbrush cleaner for creative effects, razor knives for highlighting, color, and steel wool for brushed metal. Finally, you'll learn unusual materials to spray through like woven basket-weave rattan fabric, batting material for special effects, polyester fiber fill for couds, drywall tape fabric, knit mesh, crocodile embossed paper, lace papers, and tulle. All of this including working with opaques and transparent acrylics, transferring images to art surfaces, cheap tricks with paintbrushes and a variety of fan brushes, style testing for previewing, airbrush pressure regulation, discussion of illustration boards, loose masking techniques, freehand airbrushing techniques, how to preview end-results with acetate, working with masking tape, technique for drying paint faster, and working on black illustration board.

This is a good video. If u are a beginner you will find this useful. he shows several tricks and there are about 3 or 4 illustrations that i found helpful.
This was one of the most amazing videos that I have rented from TVR. He goes in depth on about 10 specials effects and touches on many more. I had no idea that airbrushing photo-realistic images could be so easy. This video is a MUST for anyone, even if you are not interested in airbrushing, it will still amaze you.
This is a great vidoe for the beginner even the intermediat airbrusher. being I am a new airbrusher , you might relate to this question I often asked myself , where do I begin to start learning . Well this video will give you the answer to that question . There is a wealth of information on this video . common techniques and to easy ways of rendering tons of textures the EASY WAY. on a scale of 1- 100 i would give this video a 99
Good information regarding air brush techniques, but not quite what I was expecting. I think this video is cataloged in the wrong section...I found it in the vehicle painting section, and it really focuses more on arts and crafts type painting. With that being said, however, it is well worth the time to view it, because many of the techniques can be applied to any media.
Very informative video for getting the basics in a fashion that keeps your attention. I also, was looking for videos relating to the Motorcycle and Automotive customizing fields, so I agree with a previous reviewer that this video should be listed in another section. Even at that, the information and techniques could possibly used in the artwork applied to both Motorcycles and Automobiles since many of the actual airbrush techniques used could be modified for these applications. Definately worth the $9.99 rental fee to gain the knowledge from this video.
This has a number of techniques I found usefull as a beginning airbrusher. I plan to order my own copy of the video to keep.
Great video, I'am painting my kayak and I used the fiber fill technique to render clouds, it came out really nice, great other effects, I'm going to try the star scene next, it gives you ideas to try out, I highly recomend this dvd
Super informative Video, great discussion of many different techniques, would highly recommend to airbrush artists looking to improve their skills.
I learned a few things but this video was boring to me, so I had to watch in a couple different settings. I'll give it 4 out of 5 because everyone else is giving high marks and I'm new to airbrushing.
I will say this is the best video I have rented so far. As far as it says it should also be called "Illustration Cheap Tricks & Special Effects ( to really enjoy what your airbrush can do and make big profits)". It doesn't matter what you want to do with airbrushing: autos, t-shirts, etc. With the effects he shows in very clear, easy to follow instructions, add this to your skills. You will want to rent this one again.
This is a great video! I picked up a few tips, but I was looking more for shading, drop shadows, 3d, etc.
If your just starting to airbrush, this is a must to rent. You'll learn stippling effects, wood grain, space, and more. You'll learn how to make stencils out of paper, and some cool illustration techniques. This video is not really automotive based; he uses illustration water based paints for all of it, but the techniques can be transfered over to automotive murals easily.
Again a must rent.

Unfortunately this was a little boring to me and I am a newbie. Some of the tricks I already knew about because of nice "How To's" I've read. He does go over several effects from beggining to end though and seeing the transformation is nice. If you know absolutely nothing and are into illustrations than I would rate this a 90 out of a 100. I am however going to have to rate this a 82 overall.
This disk is an excellent quick guide to help make custom work. It is extremely easy for the painter and he does an excellent job in explaining all details.
This was a great video for people wanting to learn new and easy to use air brushing techniques! I loved all the information in this video and plan on using several of the cheap tricks taught here. Great flick!
THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGINS...if you have mastered airbrush conrol then this is next,, learning the tech. and how to create them.....I wish there were more dvds like this one....it doesn't matter if you paint cars , bikes, or posters,watch this dvd,this is a 10
If you are just starting out this is a great video. I am a beginner with an airbrush and this DVD has help me to advance my skills.
I was very happy with this dvd. Some great tips on things I didn't know and some nice twists on things I did. Highly recommended.
Good info for airbrush techniques. This guy is an illustrator and not a car or bike guy. I knew a good deal of the stuff already and so it moved a little slow for me. While you can take some of these techniques to the body shop, most of it is for other applications.
Excellent...On a scale of 1-10...I'd give it a 12!!!!!
This dvd has a lot of fast and cool texture and stencils tricks. a must for an illustrator, but you can use some of these techniques anywhere.

An excellent source for both beginner and intermediate airbrusher. I especially liked the segments on stippling and wood graining. Michael Cacy is very good at explaining his methods in terms that someone new to airbrushing can understand and appreciate.
I've rented most of the airbrush videos. One of the best by far. Gives you so many new ideas and concepts. I had to watch it several times to get it all.
This is an outstanding video that I couldn't wait to try. Great information for beginner to advanced. Good visual of the techniques. Highly recommend.
I am just beginning to work with the airbrush, I found this dvd to be informative and very well done. I will say at first I was bored by the pace at which the information was delivered. But the content, once he got under way was very good. The cloud tricks alone are worth the rental price.

This video is well done. Michael does a good job explaining as he shows how to use the techniques. There are a lot of techniques presented to expand an airbrush artist's arsenol of special effects for projects. It would take someone a lot of time to accumulate all the techniques presented in this 1 DVD.
Never received this DVD you sent one on how to draw and airbrush dragons, of which I returned, instead and I thought you were going to send the correct one.
In this video anyone airbrushing for a while may already be aware of some of the types of effects but yet there is something for everyone in here so if in doubt, it is a must see.
