Bert believes the concepts and fundamentals presented in this DVD will help you to become a better brass player, no matter what brass instrument you choose to play. It's important to note that in the interactive portion of this video, only the first bar of the mouthpiece and trumpet exercise is shown. There is a reason for this. Without music, you must rely on your ear. And developing a good ear is essential to becoming a flexible musician, and one who will not be tied down to the printed page.

I didn't feel the DVD matched the written description. With one exception, there was little interactive instruction/practice. Nor did I feel it helped with developing the ear to enable playing without written music. Charlie L.
