Product availability: very long wait
Very good video. They even cut away the side of a real 336 to show how the action works in detail. Complete disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly. Could have used a little more detail on the 1894 square bolt, but with what I learned about the 336, I'll be able to figure it out. Highly recommended.
Very informative. This DVD is one of several from AGI's Armorer's Course that I have rented or owned. AGI does a real nice job of explaining the firearms and how to disassemble, clean, lube and reassemble them.
Thanks. I watched it several times then bought the screw I needed and replaced the broken one on my 1894C. It was the small screw that holds the loading gate spring. The video made it very easy to make this simple repair. Without the video I would probably not have a attempted it. My nephew used the repaired gun to shoot a mule deer on November 10th.
Thanks, it was well worth it!
Good movie; very informative. It has given me a new respect for lever action rifles in general.
Although the information it does contain is good, I was expecting more with a title of "Armorer's course".
It will show you how to disassemble, clean and reassemble a 336 / 1894. If you're looking for more information like smoothing trigger action, tightening the forearm, etc, you won't find it in this video.
Save yourself some money and rent this video- It's worth the $10 rental fee but is definitely not worth the $40 purchase price. One week is plenty of time to learn what's in this video.
