Considering that I have never held a pinstriping brush. I really got a lot out of the DVD. I can now hold the brush properly and have started on my lessons. If you are curious or just want to see how to begin pin striping, this is a great DVD. If you already can do pin striping then it is not for you.

Wizard's Pinstriping Basics is an excellent video for anyone looking to learn to Pinstripe. It is very fun and informative to watch. It shows the techniques in a very clear easy-to-understand manner. There are also some useful tips about getting the necessary supplies. Simple put "If you want to learn to Pinstripe..... GET THIS VIDEO!!!"

The single most valuable striping 'How-To' DVD available. The artist known as "Wizard" is incredibly thorough. He's an excellent communicator, meaning he's not in a rush to explain himself, and he provides great details on which brushes to use, which paints to use and for what application, and provides some superb demos. Bottom line, I don't know if he's a better pinstriper or teacher?! This is a complete course for novice, and even the experienced lineguy will get something from watching him.

Great show of technique with one brush. Main message; practice, practice, practice. Would have been nice to see other types of brushes instead of "buy yourself a variety of brushes & try them out". Not much for tips on working with paint; thinning, dry times, brush care, clearing, etc. Very glad I rented. Would have been disappointed had I purchased this dvd.

Believe the reviews. This video is great. Great information on brushes, paints and prep work. I really like the idea of practicing each of the 10 strokes x 1000 times, for a total of 10,000. I plan to start this once I get a brush. It does take practice and patience. Wizard makes it look easy but his instruction is very informative and encouraging. Practice, practice, practice. This is one I will buy.
