I am learning glass engraving with a high speed engraver. This dvd had alot of very valuable tips and information BUT, I am now renting 1, 2 & 3 of the beginners series, to get some basics. It really got me interested in engraving on plexi glass, and deepened my interest in metal.
Possibly the WORST instructional video series that I have seen! Don't get me wrong, the guy is obviously a gifted engraver. Unfortunately, this does not always guarantee that they will be the best teachers. It's fine if you want to watch someone engraving from a distance. I highly recommend that you not waste your time with these series and instead rent the Lynton McKinsey videos. Even though they were done back in the 1980's the wealth of information is excellent. If you are a new engraver Lynton's videos will save you months of trial and error.
