This dvd is very interesting and has a lot of good practice routines for someone interested in IDPA/IPSC action shooting, however I personally found Mr Burkett a little annoying to listen to. He makes arrogant jokes and comments to his pupil and then when it's Burkett's turn to shoot, he makes excuses for his loose groupings and misses by saying "well, it's the first time I've shot this gun" and "that's why they call this practice." Last time I checked, excuses were for losers....

All in all, this is a great DVD because it delivers as advertised and is well worth the rental.

It was very informative. It gave me several training tips since I am new to the IDPA matches.

Kevin Elpers was good... Instead of having a "new" shooter learning basics they had a shooter sharpening his skills for competition. I liked that Matt Burkett the instructor wasn't satisfied with all his shots. Why practice if your always satisfied or don't want to improve something? The tips were good ammo is to expensive to waste without a good practice plan.

Too much discussion and not enough demonstration.

Didn't turn out to be informative as I hoped, but nonetheless an attempt to give some structure to range trips.

Presents 10 drills mixed with miscellaneous tips: group shooting (slowfire), recoil control (one-hand), Bill drills (7/15/25yd), draws, transitions, 90 degree transitions, ported barricade, barricade movement, steel on the move, hard 9 (9 boxes, move and shoot).

You need a tactical/open range to setup and practice most of them, so if you don't have access to a range where you can do this, I'm not sure how useful this video will be.

Otherwise, I liked the way Burkett and Elpers narrated the video.

Long disk, but moves along well with plenty of shooting and it will show you many improvements in technique. I see how you can become faster shooting and moving. how to intimidate a texas plate wheel.

Well worth it one of the better ones I have seen its all technique and speed and movement around the course. Good plan for practice drills.
