This DVD series makes preparing for the FAA test almost fool proof. Very good instruction.

The entire King Schools private pilot series is great. My 15 year-old son is now ready for the FAA written. As a 20 year airline captain, I highly regard the King's teaching practices and abilities.

Decent first lesson on piloting. Mr. King has a good personality on screen and he certainly seems familiar with his material. A veteran at first glance. Explanations are very clear. Quality of graphics is just so-so. Old school video production quality with camera work that is OK but not great. The video is mostly him in front of a graphics screen. Airplane pictures are dull for the most part. But Mr. King's winning approach trumps the video's technical failings. Mr. King gets an "A" while the video quality gets a "C", resulting in a "B".
