This is a long overdue title in Erlewine's StewMac repair series. Erlewine walks you through the diagnosis of a number of bridge structural and placement problems on both imported and vintage instruments either direct from the factory or victims of shoddy repair jobs. While the natural tendency when encountering intonation, tuning and playability problems is to blame neck set, saddle, nut or fingerboard fretting issues, Erlewine focuses on a number of rarely identified scenarios where incorrect bridge placement and shoddy bridge work is at fault and provides invaluable tips on how to rectify these problems. This is highly recommended for experienced builders and budding repair persons.
I like Dan's dvd's. I wish he would have shone a little more detail of the repairs but over all this dvd is good.
