With exciting, informative, well shot videos from names like George Hurst, Chuck Burrows, John Bianchi, Jim Linnell, Larry Belitz, and Matt Richards that you can keep as long as you want, the ability to cancel at any time, and with a low monthly price of just $11.47 for the first month, and $22.95 thereafter , this is a bargain that you can't afford to miss!
Q: How many DVDs do I get at a time?
A: Up to three per month.
Q: Once I subscribe, can I quit?
A: Yes, you can quit at any time at all. Just send us an email and you're out - no more charges, ever.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Just $11.47 for the first month, and $22.95 per month after that . That's a huge savings over the $249.00 or so it would cost to buy three new DVDs each month, and a big savings over the normal rental cost.
Q: How much is shipping?
A: It's free!
Q: How much are late fees?
A: There are never any late fees!
Q: Can you clarify how the "three DVDs out-at-a-time, limit three per month" plan works?
A: Let's say you sign up on the 10th of the month. Your month then runs from the 10th of each month till the 10th of the next month. We'll make sure that you always have three new DVDs to watch in your home. We do it by sending out up to three DVDs during each month.
So, you sign up on the 10th. We mail you three DVDs immediately. If you return one of them a week later, we accept the return, but since we've mailed you three new DVDs this month, we wait until the next month. As soon as the 10th of the next month rolls around, we send you one DVD, so now you've again got 3 DVDs in your home. A week after that, you return two more dvds. We immediately replace them, so that you again have three dvds.
Q: Will my university subscription send me DVDs that I already ordered as a SmartFlix customer?
A: No! We track what you've already rented, and we won't send out duplicates.
Q: What order do I get the DVDs in?
A: We can't promise that you'll get the dvds in exactly the order listed below, but we do absolutely promise that we always send items out in an order that makes sense: you'll never get disk 2 in a set before disk 1. More generally, we use customer feedback to structure the universities in an order that makes sense - basic stuff first, then more advanced topics.
Q: There's a DVD (or two, or three) on the list that I don't want to see - can I subscribe to Leatherworking University, but somehow not get that DVD?
A: Sure thing! Just subscribe to the university, then send us an email telling us what DVDs you want to skip.
Q: This is a pretty awesome deal, isn't it?
A: Yes, it is!

This is a great collection of DVD's. I am just starting out and it has been very helpful so far and is very easy to follow. This is something that I think could help anyone no matter what their skill level.
I really appreciate the opportunity to "attend" Leatherworking University. I live on an island in hawaii, and the opportunities to learn leatherwork are very limited. This has been an inexpensive and thorough way to learn more about leatherwork. There are some DVDs that I would not have chosen on my own, but I still gather valuable tips from watching them. The George Hurst DVDs are an excellent baseline for all that I wanted to learn. Then there are specific DVDs on topics such as holster making, that are useful from the standpoint of design, and execution of a leathercraft project. The hide tanning was a pleasant surprise. "Turning deerskins to buckskins" was incredibly detailed and informative. I would recommend Leatherworking university to anyone who wants to make saddles, tan their own hides, make holsters, or any other leather projects - big or small.
