Q: How many DVDs do I get at a time?
A: Up to three per month.

Q: Can you clarify how the "three DVDs out-at-a-time, limit three per month" plan works?
A: Let's say you sign up on the 10th of the month. Your month then runs from the 10th of each month till the 10th of the next month. We'll make sure that you always have three new DVDs to watch in your home. We do it by sending out up to three DVDs during each month.
So, you sign up on the 10th. We mail you three DVDs immediately. If you return one of them a week later, we accept the return, but since we've mailed you three new DVDs this month, we wait until the next month. As soon as the 10th of the next month rolls around, we send you one DVD, so now you've again got 3 DVDs in your home. A week after that, you return two more dvds. We immediately replace them, so that you again have three dvds.
Q: Will my university subscription send me DVDs that I already ordered as a SmartFlix customer?
A: No! We track what you've already rented, and we won't send out duplicates.
Q: What order do I get the DVDs in?
A: We can't promise that you'll get the dvds in exactly the order listed below, but we do absolutely promise that we always send items out in an order that makes sense: you'll never get disk 2 in a set before disk 1. More generally, we use customer feedback to structure the universities in an order that makes sense - basic stuff first, then more advanced topics.
Q: There's a DVD (or two, or three) on the list that I don't want to see - can I subscribe to Quilting University, but somehow not get that DVD?
A: Sure thing! Just subscribe to the university, then send us an email telling us what DVDs you want to skip.

I LOVE the quilting university! I look forward every month to receiving new dvd's. I've learned a lot. I especially like the dvd's, because I can stop, back up, and see a particular skill as many times as I want and/or need to understand how to do each step. I watch each dvd at least twice. The first viewing is to watch it completely. The second is to take notes, since there's always something new that I want to remember. I can't believe you can offer this service for such a reasonable price. Thank you smartflix!
Joining the Smartflix quilting university is one of the best things I've ever done! I look forward every month to receiving new dvd's, and I can hardly believe the low price. I am very pleased with the education I have received from the dvd's. I have taken notes as I would if I were in a lecture. The best part of that is, If I miss or do not understand something I can go back over it. I have learned a lot and found many shortcuts and easier ways to do things.
