Carducci, and Craig Nelson, CAC that you can keep as long as you want, the ability to cancel at any time, and with a low monthly price of just $12.97 for the first month, and $25.95 thereafter , this is a bargain that you can't afford to miss!
Q: How many DVDs do I get at a time?
A: Up to three per month.
Q: Once I subscribe, can I quit?
A: Yes, you can quit at any time at all. Just send us an email and you're out - no more charges, ever.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Just $12.97 for the first month, and $25.95 per month after that . That's a huge savings over the $249.00 or so it would cost to buy three new DVDs each month, and a big savings over the normal rental cost.
Q: How much is shipping?
A: It's free!
Q: How much are late fees?
A: There are never any late fees!
Q: Can you clarify how the "three DVDs out-at-a-time, limit three per month" plan works?
A: Let's say you sign up on the 10th of the month. Your month then runs from the 10th of each month till the 10th of the next month. We'll make sure that you always have three new DVDs to watch in your home. We do it by sending out up to three DVDs during each month.
So, you sign up on the 10th. We mail you three DVDs immediately. If you return one of them a week later, we accept the return, but since we've mailed you three new DVDs this month, we wait until the next month. As soon as the 10th of the next month rolls around, we send you one DVD, so now you've again got 3 DVDs in your home. A week after that, you return two more dvds. We immediately replace them, so that you again have three dvds.
Q: Will my university subscription send me DVDs that I already ordered as a SmartFlix customer?
A: No! We track what you've already rented, and we won't send out duplicates.
Q: What order do I get the DVDs in?
A: We can't promise that you'll get the dvds in exactly the order listed below, but we do absolutely promise that we always send items out in an order that makes sense: you'll never get disk 2 in a set before disk 1. More generally, we use customer feedback to structure the universities in an order that makes sense - basic stuff first, then more advanced topics.
Q: There's a DVD (or two, or three) on the list that I don't want to see - can I subscribe to Pastel University, but somehow not get that DVD?
A: Sure thing! Just subscribe to the university, then send us an email telling us what DVDs you want to skip.
Q: This is a pretty awesome deal, isn't it?
A: Yes, it is!

Renewal, Celebration, insight, and future; these are the words that describe the great "Pastel University" . Painting, drawing, and theory -things I had learned are renewed in my mind and practice. New insight comes with learning from people I would not have studied or was even caring to be tutored by their painting ways. And future---putting into practice what I had forgotten or hadn't learned before, learning from people I did not know about or was even interested in gives new directions and opportunities for my painting future. It reminds me I can learn from any great artist, and I have a better future in painting and solving problems, because they shared their journey. I have new directions and maps in my troubled times. If it were not for the "Pastel University" I would not be aware of some great artists and their art.
I'm no longer enrolled in the pastel university, but I thoroughly enjoyed it while I participated. It was great to be able to keep the CDs as long as I wanted and you offer "top-notch" artists to select.
At a later date, I hope to participate again.
After, Painting, and teaching Still-Life, Portraits, Landscapes for over 28 years; and having won many awards: The Pastel University became a great way Learning Event. It enabled me to; a) get acquainted with various artist's teachings, b) Study areas I was not too interested in but rewarded me greatly, c) review the basics from a variety of methods, disciplines, and approaches, d) improve on some of the areas I had not developed very much over the years, e) learn new techniques and varied ways of painting, and f) to be renewed and affirmed in my own progress, style, methodist, teaching. I teach special needs persons for the City of Lubbock, The Lutheran Church, and the United Methodist Churches. The Pastel University has helped me in my lesson plans, and great depth in developing art with people who do not know how to expresses what is within them. It has enabled me to be a better teacher in the workshops, classes, group presentations, using art in training hospice workers, and even my private lessons. I am excited about what Pastel University has done for me personally, and even in developing my use of Oils, acrylics, watercolor, and charcoal paintings. There are no negeatives in the Pastel University---If one is willing to study, learn, improve, enjoy, and help others.
