Q: Can you clarify how the "three DVDs out-at-a-time, limit three per month" plan works?
A: Let's say you sign up on the 10th of the month. Your month then runs from the 10th of each month till the 10th of the next month. We'll make sure that you always have three new DVDs to watch in your home. We do it by sending out up to three DVDs during each month.
So, you sign up on the 10th. We mail you three DVDs immediately. If you return one of them a week later, we accept the return, but since we've mailed you three new DVDs this month, we wait until the next month. As soon as the 10th of the next month rolls around, we send you one DVD, so now you've again got 3 DVDs in your home. A week after that, you return two more dvds. We immediately replace them, so that you again have three dvds.
Q: Will my university subscription send me DVDs that I already ordered as a SmartFlix customer?
A: No! We track what you've already rented, and we won't send out duplicates.
Q: What order do I get the DVDs in?
A: We can't promise that you'll get the dvds in exactly the order listed below, but we do absolutely promise that we always send items out in an order that makes sense: you'll never get disk 2 in a set before disk 1. More generally, we use customer feedback to structure the universities in an order that makes sense - basic stuff first, then more advanced topics.
Q: There's a DVD (or two, or three) on the list that I don't want to see - can I subscribe to Jewelry Making University, but somehow not get that DVD?
A: Sure thing! Just subscribe to the university, then send us an email telling us what DVDs you want to skip.

I really like the Tim McCreight video, as well as the Sheri Haab video. The three videos that I have now are not as good, in my opinion (don't have the names here as they are at home and I am at work) I will be sending them back in the next day, so I will be looking forward to the next videos in the series.
I'm loving it! I get exposure to so many different techniques- some of them I'll try and others not, but I'm sure glad to get a taste nonetheless. Even when I look at a title and think I won't be interest...I get sucked in! Definately worthwhile! I hope they never end coming up with titles.

I think the system is good but there are a few that I have received that I have no interest in whatsoever which seems ashame to have spent the money. As I went back in I finally noticed that I could mark the ones I did not want (which I just did a couple of days ago). Other than that, it is a good system.
I enjoy Smartflix Jewelry Making Univeristy very much and have recommended it often. There is nothing like seeing techniques demonstrated visually. I have found all the dvds I have received thus far to be very well done with good close up shots of things being demonstrated and overall have found the dvds to be highly informative.
I have enjoyed the varity of the DVD's on the subject of jewelry making.
This is a great program to have full collection of instructional DVD's in one place. The negative side is that I cannot order the DVD's in order in which I think a person would learn a subject such as beginner, intermediate, expert.
Again I cannot stress enough that I think this program, is great to have a compilation of so many DVD's in one place instead of renting one here or there or having buy a DVD to find out that it was not helpful.
Would I recommend your company-Yes.
I don't use all the information right away but I do keep notes for future reference. I like the jewelry university because it introduces me to new ideas. Things I knew nothing about, and would not have rented a DVD for.
