Fresco Landscape Mural Landscapes are typically the major element of mural paintings. This landscape, as well as the techniques that will be used to realize it, have been specifically designed for beginners. The explanation is terrific. I needed to learn the technique and he gave me exactly what I need. The background is fine, he has some music that helps to keep the attention. Every step is explained. The only thing is that I consider the producers should put the name of the colors used, the medium, etc either on the bottom of the screen while he was mentioning them or in a separate chapter. I got another DVD from them (Creavtive Evolution) and the artist does it. It is a minor thing. But the video with Pascal Amblard is perfect to learn. I am very glad I rented. I am going to rent all of his videos.
This a was a worthwhile rental which showed you how to create an aged fresco painting. I would have liked to have a better list of products used as it was not made clear if acrylics were used or oil. I was surprised to see the sky added last as I always paint that first, so that was unexpected. He did a great job on the painting which came to life rather quickly with a small palette of 4 colors.
