Great training video for owners and dogs of all ages. (be warned, the repetitive cut scene melody may leave permanent scars ;-])

Love it -- haven't done it yet with my dog, but it is very methodical and well presented. I can see lots of advantages for training it.

I would recommend this video for anyone wanting to teach self control to their puppy or working dogs. I have been working through this DVD with my new puppy and also my two older agility dogs and I love the results!! Looking forward to Susan's next video!

What I felt was shortchanged here was the question of how to train your dog to be comfortable while resting in the crate. The approach to training entries and exits is great, but the video started with a dog who was lying comfortably in the crate. I need to know how to get my dog to that point; she had a procedure at the end for getting a dog who's not crate trained to go inside the crate, but it still didn't address the issue of a dog who is willing to go into the crate but who gets agitated when left there more than a few minutes.
