Great Video!!! Lots of techniques you can use for a variety of projects. Mental Ray has a lot of pieces and part so take notes but this is definitely worth your time!!!!
Good stuff, rent it as soon as you can. Covers GI and Final Gather as well as techniques to speed up workflow and good shader information. There are so many little hidden things within Maya and Mental Ray that you would have to use a detailed resource like this to cover it all.
