One of the most intimidating procedures of the popular KLR motorcycle is checking and adjusting the valves. Jay’s video makes the entire process a breeze. Everything from the tools you need, to figuring out replacement shim sizes is covered. Big clear graphics help reinforce the detailed voiceover. Expertly shot with lots of well lit, closeup camera angles.
The program also covers how to repair a tube tire. If you do any kind of adventure touring, you’d better know how to do tire repair in the field. Jay passes on all the secrets he’s learned over the years to make the process go smoothly.
The combination of Jay’s experience in broadcast video and over a decade in motorcycling makes this one of the best instructional videos we’ve seen in a long time. Save hundreds of dollars by learning to do these important procedures yourself.

Pretty good; Clear, well-lit, encouraging, and I'm pretty sure, accurate.
I am far more comfortable doing my own valves having seen this film. Watching this film saved me big $$$.
The tire change section of the film is basic but would be quite helpful for a novice.
Too bad "Jay" didn't film ALL of his maintenance procedures!
A few comments, the production and clarity is excellent.
A complete covering of the topics in both valve and tire changing.
Well worth a rent if you are new to these topics.
I also don't have a KLR650, but found the video to be very informative.
The video does not expand beyond these topics, so its fairly narrow of scope. Which I prefer in a video.
