Steve Samson is a brilliant teacher. His approach is straight forward, building your skills one step at a time, in an uncomplicated style. After about a half an hour of listening to these tutorials, I found myself checking the web, to see what else this guy teaches. Unfortunately not enough. If you want to learn Illustrator, get this DVD. You won't be sorry.
Like all Total Training titles, this title provides very good training for the Adobe products. It was very useful for me because I was a complete beginner to Illustrator. It taught me everything I needed to know for the small project I had, which was redesigning a corporate logo. Highly recommended.
This is a great tutorial. If the quality of this tutorial is representative of Total Training then I hope you get more tutorials from Total Training.
Well presented and detailed. However, if you know ai pretty well and looking to get a bit deeper and uncover some more advanced techniques, this trainng disk may leave you wanting more.
I was new to Adobe illustrator and this DVD really helped me get started. I totally recommend this DVD.
The video was very informative. I learned a few new tricks. I will be renting other Illustrator DVD's to se if they offer something different.
I had NEVER used Illustrator before but needed to design a logo and Photoshop was not doing the job. This DVD was easy to follow and after only 6 days of training I was able to create my logo! I would highly recommend this DVD!
