After viewing this DVD, I purchased a copy of my own. I thought I knew enough about color theory to get by, but I didn’t know how much I didn’t know! Frequently pausing and reviewing the DVD to listen more closely, I pulled out my dusty color wheel to follow along. There is a lot of information, and Ms. Angelo makes it easy to learn. 'Color Theory Made Really Easy' cannot be satisfactorily viewed in one sitting. You'll want to watch certain segments over and over. I'm taking a local colored pencil drawing class, and have recommended the DVD (and SmartFlix) to others. Thank you SmartFlix! Diana E. Tucson, Arizona
The DVD was great and I learned quite a lot of useful information. I quilt and this info is very vital in planning.I will be ordering many more DVDs since many are very difficult to find.
There are a few good things about how to make a value color test, with mixing of colors and white, then their complement. She uses acrylic for her examples, and is not specific about which red, or which blue,, etc. Which is important. Very elementary, and not specific enough.
