Awesome! Very well done. I enjoyed this DVD thoroughly and it inspired me to get to work. Thank you! Well worth viewing.
This flic gets a bit hokey sometimes, but it is a wonderful introduction to using frit for glasswork. Mr. Depille is an excellent teacher, and really is quite diligent at giving all of the necessary information needed to be successful. He provides formulas, temperatures, and step-by-step instructions.
This is the 4th DVD we've watched, and, while the others may have been more awe-inspiring, this disc gave us the bedrock information that we, as newcomers to frit-working, found to be most helpful.
This is the BEST video on glass working that I have seen. Very clear, good paced and interesting material. He gives you specific instructions about how to accomplish all aspects, including how to mix the materials used. I would HIGHLY recommend this to glass artists of any level, there should be something there for everybody and will no doubt rent this video again sometime in the future!!
This video is well done and well worth seeing. He shows the process clearly, with humor, and gives plenty of information to get started with this kind of work. A very small criticism- his production of stringer is crude. It can be done much more easily, quickly and accurately- see any flameworking video. But, I would not get too worried about that one little thing because it is just fine overall.
Very informative and well presented. Clear information and we learned several new techniques....definitely worth the time!
