Our how-to-video uses classroom tested, correct practice methods to create an effective learning environment. This retired student wanted to learn bricklaying skills to assist in a project with Habitat for Humanity.
Wouldn't you enjoy working on the ideal do-it-yourself project? One that lasts for generations and never requires additional maintenance? To participate in one of the oldest yet most modern building practices?
You may not be aware that bricklaying dates back to the building of Solomon's Temple. The trade secrets were so valuable that a fraternity was formed which held private meetings with an armed guard posted behind the closed door. His sword was drawn ready to defend the content of these meetings.
The term Eave's dropping derived from this period, where people would try listening through openings in the eaves of the meeting house.
Bricklaying secrets were so closely guarded throughout the centuries that most people today are programed into believing that they could never learn this ancient art form. We have watched people from all walks of life pick up these skills relatively easy.

Product availability: very long wait
Contains enough info to allow a beginner to build planters, walkway borders, and other simple projects. The techniques demonstrated would be much too slow for bigger projects. The video technical quality is very good.
