Tribal Treasures Bracelet Workshop with Sharilyn Miller is a 150-minute-long DVD providing instruction on the art and craft of making jewelry with sterling-silver wire and beads. Consisting of 19 chapters, the DVD has a fully navigable menu including a resources section. Each of the 19 chapters provides a separate lesson on various aspects of fine jewelry making; for example: properly cleaning and measuring wire, forming jump rings, making wrapped eyepins and caged beads, assembling and polishing jewelry, and much more.

This DVD is AWESOME! It was so good, I had a hard time turning it back in (eek). Anyway, it is well produced, the subject matter is of high interest if you are interested in making eclectic but well-made jewelry, and it was very easy to follow and all the tools necessary were explained in detail. In all very well done and worth getting.
I enjoyed this DVD a lot. Sharilyn definitely knows her 'stuff'. She is a very easy going instructor and goes over and over the steps with the kind of repetition that is helpful to learning. It's not a tape for everyone to just sit down and be entertained as much as the DVD is a teaching tool. Each technique is in it's own chapter and so you can go to whichever part you'd like to learn - pretty snazzy!
I'd like to check it out again and do the steps with her using the Pause button often. That's the ticket!
My only criticism is that I wish there were more shots where the camera could have zoomed in - especially on the completed piece. It was very very hard to see. This is a big thing when you are teaching intricate wire work.
I enjoyed this video - however, closer shots of what was going on from time to time would have been good. Also a picture of the artist was not there and I thought we'd at least get to see who was behind the hands.
Great DVD. The information was clearly presented, and reinforced. I have the book "Bead On A Wire" and watching this dvd was exactly what I expected. The presentation and ideas were well done. The quality of this dvd was one of the best and she even leaves you with ideas for making other items of jewelry. I now know I have to purchase the dvd to use when needed.
It was great, I like to see a close up when she was working. Other then that, it is a great dvd. I hope they get them all.
Tribal Treasures is an excellent DVD. Definitely worth renting.
Awesome instructions. Clear and very organized. Would love to see the other Miller DVDs available through this service
