I loved this DVD, the information about reflections and shadows in relation to the suns angle was very helpful.
Yes,this was a very good presentation on how to go about painting a sunset. I thought the teacher covered the subject well and gave enough insight where I had to watch the DVD at least three times. I learned from this presentation and hope that there will be further works along this line. Thank you
Easy to watch, not too involved or drawn out. The teacher has a nice somewhat dry humor which makes watching the DVD even a little more fun.

I loved this. I have never seen the ocean, so I'm not one to judge, but it was very helpful. He is conducting a class during the painting, so he gets to answer common questions about reflections, shadows etc. as he goes along.
Excellent video...great teacher. I'm looking forward to renting the other DVD's by E John, but looks like there's a very long wait on all his others. Perhaps, some more may be purchased to shorten the wait? Thanks.
This video is for someone who loves very bright colors and heavy paint application. I enjoyed watching it but I am used to a more academic style.
