Mr Kouhoupt had far more knowledge then most of us will ever see. The math was good but it was math. It will take far more than a week to get thru it and retain it.
The instructor does an excellent job teaching some basic math skills that are essential to the machinist, model maker, or hobbyist. There were a couple of things that he mumbled while explaining how to calculate the positions of spokes around a wheel, which left me puzzled, but overall, I found his teaching methods to be interesting and easy to follow. If math is not one of your strong skills (as is the case for me) this DVD will help a great deal in teaching you things that you had trouble learning in school!
Lots of good information. Had to watch it several times before I was clear on the details. He demystified the dividing head for me. Don't have to use my chart anymore.
I watched about 10 total minutes of it and had to turn it off. There is good information in the video, however, the way it is presented put me to sleep. I am a high school mechanics teacher and I expected it to be helpful in using applied math, but found no use for what the video that I couldn't get from college level math books.
