This is really something special. Whether you like the author’s virtual style or not, I don’t think you’ll fail to be impressed with his techniques for converting photographic images into striking simulations of natural-media works. The options and possibilities are vast, and there’s clearly ample room for subtlety and uniqueness, even if these are only hinted at in the demos. This approach goes way beyond canned presets and auto-conversions in Painter, and any application of the Art History brush that I’ve ever seen. Fascinating!
Since this is a Windows ONLY DVD and I didn't realize that when I reserved and wait two months for the DVD, I really can't tell you anything about it since I could not see it on my MAC.
I think this is the best tutorial I have rented thus far. AWESOME!!!
This is very informative. I have been doing photoshop for years, professionally(t-shirt artist). It was very easy to understand. I am getting excellent results immediately. Well worth the money for the information. Indy Mike
Great DVD! I had to wait for it for longer than expected, but it was very easy to understand.
This is good if you want to do a digital painting with Adobe Photoshop and not Corel Painter. I use both and I never knew that you could do allot of the stuff in Photoshop. I use a Mac and had no problem viewing this lesson. The reason I say that is because someone said you could not.
Great painting techniques for Photoshop that anyone can learn. Highly recommended.
I truly like Brad Buttry's style of doing his portrait. I highly recommend this DVD especially for photographers. Among all the tutorials out there, for me this is the best I bought.
Excellent DVD to learn how to paint with photoshop using smudging. Well explained - great details. One of the best I have seen.
First things first, excellent Customer Service!!! Wow, SmartFlix! The dvd was very easy to understand and straight forward! Very comfortable with Mr. Buttry's style and pace as he walks you thru the entire process. Even if you are a novice with Photoshop you can easily follow along with Brad and I am pleased with my results! If you are on the fence about getting this dvd and the other he has GO FOR IT! You will not be unsatisfied...if by chance you are not happy with the set SmartFlix will return your money!
This was a very enlightening DVD. He shows you exactly what you need to do to achieve these beautiful effects. I am very glad I rented this.
