I found the camera work here quite good and for the most part the techniques presented in this title are quite good. The workmanship and quality of presentation I found very good and I am quite satisfied with what I saw in this DVD.

It's a great video, but there is no way to learn this complicated technique in the rent time allowed. Don't waste your money renting it. Put it toward the purchase price instead.

I would highly recommend this DVD to anyone who truly wants to learn about filigree and doesn't care too much about a polished presentation. The artist was very meticulous in her step by step presentation and threw out tons of really good bench tips. The pieces shown made me want to start right away and I was glad to have the resource information included on the disc.

If you are interested in Russian filigree you'll want to rent this disc. Just ignore the fact that it looks like it was filmed in the artist's bedroom.

I rented this DVD because the purchase price for it is high. Thought I'd check it out. I may go out and buy it now, but know that I have to recommend it to anyone who is learning filigree, or even to any person learning to solder silver. This DVD was so packed full of great info that I watched it three times over the weekend.

Ms Landsford is clearly a master at her art. She is also a great teacher. I found her easy to understand. She provided many insights I am anxious to try out. She states her techniques are for intermediate or better students. However this will provide motivation and insight to even a beginning student.

This video is awesome. Victoria gives clear detailed information on making several projects. She makes recommendations on material and information on where to obtain it. She gives great tips on what to watch out for and how to repair or recover when things don't work perfectly for you. I've purchased this video and already watched it multiple times. I've tried a couple of the projects and was so excited when I was able to complete them successfully. This is a favorite in my library.
