I have been knitting for 12 years and these DVDs still taught me things I hadn't seen previously. There is a lot of good, practical advice here and Lucy is a wonderful and entertaining instructor.

I knew nothing about Lucy Neatby until I saw this video set. I have knit socks for a long time and always wondered just how some of the heel techniques are done. She showed me!! I love this set. For anyone wanting to learn to knit socks, the information is reliable, easy to follow, fun and very understandable. I recommend this set for socknitters old and new...especially for those of you who want to learn new techniques but were not sure just how to do them.
I may even buy this set for myself!
A great video. Highly recommend for folks new to sock knitting as well as experienced knitters.
I totally enjoyed this DVD set, as I am new to knitting socks and need all the help I can get. Lucy Neatby is an excellent teacher. The DVDs are indexed so it is easy to find the technique you need to see, but it's also fun to just put one in the player and hit "play all" so you can have some company while you're knitting. I will definitely be checking out more of her videos.

Nothing more needs to be said other than this is the most professional teacher of knitting I have every seen/heard. I have her videos and they are by far the best on the market and that still doesn't touch her expertise. She's phenomenal!
