if you are thinking about building a ar 15 from a kit but have doubts about being able to do it watch this video. it makes it so easy anyone could follow the instructions. it takes you step by step through the whole process. i read about it first and it sounded hard but this makes it look easy.

If you are looking to build an AR-15 this video is for you. First, it's by AGI, so you know it's produced well and the content and instruction is great. Secondly, Robert Dunlap is the instructor, he has a way of making everything easy to understand (even if it's very complex). Robert Dunlap shows how easy it is to build an AR-15 and builds several for you to see (piece by piece). If you are building or plan to build an AR-15 rent this video.

This video is quite thorough, from A-Z. It also contains the gunsmith's comments on tips and tricks that are worth the rental price alone. But like everything, nothing is truly perfect. Mostly the problems with this video is the camera techniques, not the instructor. The instructor's large hands obscure his methods very often. When parts are selected for assembly, mainly the small parts, closeup shots are not taken of the part, and then the instructor's hands obscures the assembly of the part--you only get a look after assembly.

Rent this video. But if you are new to AR-15s, or just want better camera shots, then get Bushmaster's assembly instruction video. I own it and the camera techniques used in it beats this one all around.

Very down to earth and informative video. Picked up several good and new (to me) tricks to building an AR15. I will probably rent this one again.

I do not own an AR-15. I viewed this video to see what is involved in taking apart and assembling one. It achieves the purpose. Level of detail is excellent. Gunsmith is very knowledgeable and is down to earth in his step by step instruction and terminology. He discusses the tools and fixtures needed to do the job. I may look into the cost benefit of building one from one of the three kits shown. Regardless the assembly process is good for someone that does not own the firearm.
