I think this video is very useful if you are thinking about doing blade sculpting. It'll give you very good idea about process and tool involved. Video technically is done very good. You can see work piece really good from different angles.
Very informative. I enjoyed David's presentation. He's an excellent craftsman.
There is some good information on this video, but it is presented very slowly. There's about 30 minutes of instruction stretched out over the 2 hour video. The rest of the time is spent watching Mr. Broadwell carve or, in some cases, watching his hands block the camera's view of the carving.
This video appeared as if made by Uncle Bob, or possibly someone with little or no videomaking experience. The back of his right hand was the focus, when it was in focus, of this how-to video. I felt as if I wanted to go out, rent a video camera, and start a business, knowing I could have done as well. At least one doesn't have to pay the full price for the video; however, I felt I received about rental worth. The information was there but I would have preferred to see a more professional job done of a professionally skilled artist.
