Although the Sheridan style of carving leather had its roots in and about the city of Sheridan, Wyoming, it has become very popular with consumers and leather carvers worldwide. Jim Linnell learned to carve leather while growing up in Montana and always admired this style of carving. In this DVD, Jim shares his vast knowledge and skill on caring this style.

Overall I think it is a good video. Not only is it very informative on the intricacies of Sheridan carving but he shows you how he does it with cheap (Tandy) tools and still make it look good.
Good information and demonstration from an excellent leather-crafter.
Very good video, clear instructions, Mr. Linnell is a great instructor. When I received the video I was pleased to see it came with patterns, which, I thought would be used in the video, but the only one missing was the pattern Mr. Linnell worked on throughout the video! It was disappointing I could not tool the same pattern along with the video.
