The SKS has taken the USA by storm. Fast handling, low cost and reliable, these rifles have been imported from China and Russia by the tens of thousands. Our cutaway close-ups will show you how this system inspired, but differs from the AK-47 and AKS. Due to current bans on importation, spare parts may be hard to get and fitting them requires special considerations which this course covers in detail. AGI and Mr. Dunlop have created a solid little video on the sks here. First, the cons: the video was a bit disjointed or jumbled (quite a few back tracks and "I almost forgot to mention..."). Aside from this however, the look at the sks was very detailed and well explained. Everything is broken down in real time and the reasoning behind each design of the weapon is also discussed. I would have like to see a bit more on the stock options but that would be more customization than armouring. Nonetheless,I learned alot ( I have been fighting with my sks and taking it down the wrong way for years, DUnlops method much easier). THe cleaning hints were great as were the tuning tips. All in all a good film which I will definitely be purchasing for my private collection.
Bob Dunlap is and will always be my favorite Armorer. He ROCKS!!!
