Very good info for someone like myself who knows just a little about the subject. Lots of good detail! Enjoyed the presentation, not in a hurry also liked the down to earth style.

I'm a computer geek that now understands what "6 inch slump" means and how to order Grade A cement and why. I'm setting up forms to pour a 24ft X 24ft foundation for my workshop I'm doing it all myself with the information I learned on this DVD and others on cement I ordered from SmartFlix. BEAT THAT!

This DVD is full of useful information. It demonstrates building a monolithic slab in more detail than I expected. All the basic information is covered in detail. This DVD is worth buying as reference material.

Excellent basic video on concrete slabs. Great starting point. Good overview! Will need additional information for some of the details.

Well organized. Follows the complete process of building a small slab from site evaluation and preparation through to completion. Also includes some information on how techniques may differ in larger projects and variations like stamping patterns in concrete.

Although extremely thourogh, it moves a bit slowly. This is designed for real pros -- and definitely goes beyond building the run-of-the-mill slab. Eg, all the details about coloring the concrete and installing sub-floor heating pipes is PRO territory. So it was more than I cared to know about a slab!

Very Good video!

I'm not much of a handyman, but the step by step procedures will make anyone feel like they can tackle this job and do it right!

It was a good intro to building a monolithic concrete slab for people who have never done it before. It did however lack a bit in the details department. Audio on the video was sub-par and there were many times I wished they had zoomed in on what they were talking about to have a better idea of how to get it done. The end of the video is really high level discussion and no details at all but still from an information perspective useful.

Covers a lot of ground, though I did not feel comfortable pouring a slab for a house after watching this. I was more interested in footing/stem wall type pours (Not very much information on footings). This is a very good video and I highly recommend renting this for starting out.
