Very informative video, demonstrates in detail disassembly and reassembly. Also Bob Dunlap shows the differences between the various Walters and clones, very interesting. If you have a PPK or FEG PA-64 this is a must.
Very informative including some history. I took my Hungarian PA-63 apart, removed the chipped paint from the aluminum frame, cleaned and reassembled while pausing the video between steps.I didn't see that he showed the very very small spring behind the magazine lock. I spent some time looking for that one. There are too many "secrets" to taking these guns apart to attempt without this information.
Very useful video, but he does talk kinda slooow!
very informative and well produced, If anyone is thinking about venturing in to a career or just interested in small arms of the German verity and or your ready to cross the line between novice and serious gun work I highly recommend this instructional video.
I am very happy with my PPKS. I would buy it again in a heart beat
If you own a PP, a PPK, or PPK/S, you really will appreciate this DVD. The history of the development (including variants) and manufacturing history of Walthers is interesting and the complete disassembly of the pistol is covered in perhaps much more detail than you may ever need. The method that Bob used to clean the parts once disassembled was unlike I have ever seen before. His method of lubrication was also a bit different, although I understand his rationale. Despite him being very knowledgeable overall, there were times in the reassembly section when he seemed to falter and did not seem to display the complete knowledge of this particular firearm like when he initaially started to put the ejector spring in backwards. However, this is a very useful DVD for anyone who owns andy of these pistols. My overall impression was positive for this DVD.
