Great teaching style. Much better than many others.
Excellent DVD. I'd like to own it, so I can refer to it while I'm sculpting.
Excellent series. I found the information extremely useful. I picked up some good notes from these DVDs. I have been sculpting for a couple of years now and have never seen anything on high relief sculpting. A. Wasil makes it look easy.
The sculpture lesson, Full Figure in High Relief, was excellent. It contained a detailed demonstration of the high relief sculpture techniques I wanted to learn. I recommend it highly.
Found it to be rally helpful and great presentation
I enjoyed the DVD but would recommend it for sculptors who have some experience, as opposed to complete newbies. The sculptor talks about perspective but doesn't demonstrate how to achieve this in the flattened realm of relief sculpture, just shows himself lifting the front of the subject's foot out a bit from the background. Newbies would be frustrated with so little explanation of how to achieve depth. I did enjoy the mold-making demo and found that very helpful.
