This is one great video! After watching it I know I will try and carve a kestrel - he makes it look so easy.
My son wanted to learn to carve, so we rented this video. Gives a good overall of the many steps involved in carving and painting the kestral. My only complaint is that the description should note that the technique used is power carving, I was looking for something using traditional tools. Now my son wants me to buy him a Foredom tool. Fortunately, we are using a Dremel flex tool for now.
