My sons said that they learned a lot of tips which helped them the next time they had a swim practice. We're planning to rent each of the other DVDs in this series.

This is a good video for the beginner to average swimmer, or age grp youth. You see good examples of universal drills for free style. If you wanted to view advanced technical skills this isn't the tape but a must if you have not seen good examples of swimming basics and safe drills for the beginning skill set.

I am the parent of two swimmers, a ten yr old with a BB time and a 13 yr old with an A time in their backstroke. I felt that both gained insight into the basics of backstroke that they had been neglecting. Both felt it was helpful and they watched it three times and took a couple of notes. They have then put what they learned into practice and said it made the stroke easier for them.
