Product availability: very long wait
Just completed the 2 disk set. I was very pleased with the author's presentation. The content was complete, succinct, and covered everything that a new knife maker needs to know about making a high quality sheath.
I offered lots of hints and good views of the actual work. I need to see it done (and he covered that very well). It left little doubt that the man knows his craft.
Very informative and extremely useful. However, a week is not enough time to take in all the info on these two videos. I could have used a month to watch and rewatch in trying to absorb all the info and techniques presented. If you get this video be sure to alot yourself 8 hours of time to view and review.
Thorough and well done. Very step-by-step with everything you want to know about materials as well.

Outstanding set! Chuck is a talented leatherworker and makes his work look easy while instructing the viewer on proper leatherworking technique.
Rented both one and two...good idea. Great videos. I've already made 4 custom sheaths. HOWEVER!!! Danger danger Doctor Smith...the LABEL on the disk was pealing off and pieces got stuck in the DVD drive ruining it. Watch out for the killer labels.
