If you want to bright cut, you need to see this. Diane is a class act.
Except for some sound and lighting problems, it was a good tutorial. I've been trying to bright cut but she broke it down into simple easy to understand terms.

Very good information on proper tool geometry for bright cutting, the necessary individual cuts involved, and some design information as well. If you're interested in learning to cut western style scrolls, this is a good start.
I took Dianne's course at GRS in Western bright cutting-learned an awful lot and she's a great instructor. Lots to cram all in for one week so I rented this DVD and it was invaluable as a refresher course and keep me from developing too many of my own bad habits. There were lots of " Oh shoot, that's what I'm supposed to be doing" moments that helped me out a lot and brought my skills up to snuff once again. Would definitely recommend this DVD.
