In this film he searches for clues to help us produce better paintings. Working in his Melbourne studio, he investigates soft and hard edges, brushwork, water to paint ratio, drawing style, wet-in-wet and many other techniques. Using these clues he paints a variety of different subjects in the studio and in the beautiful scenery of the Mornington Peninsula.

I found Robert Wade's solutions to be quite good. He demonstrated what he was talking about, that makes a lot of difference. Obviously there are many points made which are well known to watercolorists, however, his thoughtful approach and demonstrations helped in letting one re-look at some approaches to painting. This is a very worthwhile DVD.
Excellent dvd with lots of good tips and gorgeous Australian landscape.
Mr. Wade shares a long list of tips, suggestions, techniques, and solutions to fairly common watercolor painting problems. There are a number of complete paintings done, several of which illustrate solutions that he had discussed earlier. Stellar stuff if you enjoy landscapes.
