Product availability: very long wait
This DVD is excellent. Wende is a careful, cordial, very talented, humble and composed presenter/demonstrator. Although the demo is in pastel, as an aside, she gives you the "inside" on her oil palette color choices. I can't wait for her to make an oil demo DVD! My next pastel portrait was one of the best I have done to date. Wende really influenced me!
Excellent overall - quite useful, however, rather too much talk of clothing and other somewhat less relevant matters. I wanted much more good views of her fingers at work and more talk of colors choice.
This DVD is a MUST for all pastel portrait painters. It gives a lot of informations and all level of painters can learn from it.
This is the best DVD I have rented till now. I learned a lot form this DVD. Wende is an excellent teacher.
Loved the video as soon as it got into the main teaching part. I felt the lengthy introduction was a bit over done.
Wendy is an excellent teacher. She explained why she was using each color and where it should go. I would recommend this video for beginners or advanced students. It is one of the best I've watched.
