This was an excellent DVD and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I loved this instructional DVD. I can't say enough good things about the clarity with which he presented his instruction. I really felt like I was watching a master with the added benefit of getting into his thought processes in developing the portrait. His explanation in the beginning about working habits, setting up the palette of colors, organization and details about papers and pastel was very helpful. His concentration and logical progression through the work was filled with useful instruction and he did a thorough job of explaining every thing he was doing. I loved his organized approach and the checklist at the end.
Excellent instruction filled with detailed information for the beginner and the advanced alike.
This video is an excellent teaching tool. Great information from needed supplies to studio set-up to portrait painting process.
I have studied with various local pastel artists here in San Antonio, but being able to see a master at work on DVD was a dream come true. The hardest part about Smartflix is having the patience to wait for the DVD to arrive!
Absolutely good! Excellent! Stellar! He gave very specific instructions, and demonatrated or illustrated those instructions as every effective teacher does. I highly recommend this DVD. tommie toner, Columbia, SC
