Great for the boro beginner. Good instruction on tubing and jewelry making, which i particularly liked. I would definately buy this dvd.
I did not love it or hate it. I would not spend my money to purchase it. It was just O.K.
Had a lot of good things in the DVD even for us old glass workers.
Very informative. Nice video for lampworkers who already have experience with soft glass and are interested in getting into Boro Beads.
The best information in this video is the beginning where Doug explains the technical aspects of glass, and talks about how to develop color. The actual beadmaking is good, but that's secondary for me.
The information in the beginning of the video is very good information for any borosilicate glass worker to know. Don't be tempted to skip through it. It may even benefit you to watch the technical part a couple times to make sure you fully understand it.
This video is just OK. I didn't get all that much out of it.
It was good. I'd recommend it for those starting out working with boro. I enjoyed the info on working with tubes.
great video-with good use of fast forward technique to compress the procedure a nice intro to inside out tube work-enjoyed it
This video has some information but the practitioner is nowhere near as skilled as many others I have seen. His work is not detail oriented and seems slapdash. With so many other great videos to rent, I would not recommend it.
