Excellent video. The material is presented concisely and demonstrations are precise. I have taken glass beadmaking classes and it is great to have a birds eye view of each type of bead shape and how to accomplish so many shapes. I would recommend this video to any beadmaker.

Interesting and different from the standard old bead styles. Inside out bead was interesting, but maybe not worth the effort.

I found it very informative. Filming was good, I liked being able to "look over his shoulder", and the sound was such that you could hear and understand. First rate production.

Absolutely the best video I've seen to date, and believe me I think I've seen most of them over the last couple of weeks. My muse is on strike so watching is better than doing. Heat control, lot's of ah-ha moments -- makes it all look so easy. If I could only recommend one DVD for lampworking, this would be it!

Excellent instructional video for basic beadmaking. It was a little boring for me as the speaker is very monotone, but essentially a good video.

I would definitely rate "Essential Beadmaking" with 5 stars. The content was so a beginner of glass beads or a veteran of the torch could understand and take something away from the experience. I definitely have a better grasp on the techniques used in this video than I would have had with just reading the information from a "how-to" manual. Kudos to the videographer.

Excellent video! I've been lampworking for about three years, and found it was an excellent review of the basics. Plus, I actually picked up a couple of new techniques.

Excellent video, particularly for those working with soft glass. When I rented the DVD, I only had plans to keep working in soft glass but the intro to boro was just enough to make me want to see more. Thumbs up all around!

Excellent Video! Being new at lampwork beadmaking, I was really impressed with how clear their instructions are and also how good the photography is! The many different techniques and combinations of techniques shown really give you a lot of choices of beads to make. Explanations of WHY they are doing something is also great!

I am a self-taught glass artist and have been working on this for the last year. This video answered many questions and resolved many of my "why" questions. I've shared this website with every artist and artist-want-to-be that I know. Thanks.
