Much better than the first "voicing" video. Mayes actually works with various size guitars and types of wood.

Unfortunately you still never hear how the guitars turn out

One of the best DVDs on voicing an acoustic guitar I've ever seen. I do wish the end product in terms of the finished guitar were present, but that would have probably been not practical. However this DVD has increased my knowledge 100 times over on building better sounding guitars.

what you see is what you get with this flic. He makes it easy to understand and incorporates his own brand of humor.

The DVD was very good. It had good comparisons with "before" and "after" voicings and Mr. Mayes was very entertaining.

The video also mentioned some sources for tools and supplies that I put to good use.

The only drawback for me is that I make classical guitars which have a thinner top and different bracing than the steel string guitars in the video. I wish there was a video for classing voicing.

(Note: I accidentally rated the first voicing DVD - but I have only seen the advanced voicing video).
