I have done the Total Training DVD sets for Photoshop CS2, InDesign CS2, and Illustrator CS2. My latest rental has been for Dreamweaver 8.

The Dreamweaver training was very helpful, especially in conjunction with Janine Warner's "For Dummies" book. I find the video method a far better way to learn on your own than by just using books. And even though I can't possibly remember all the details presented, when I start working with the program and face real-life challenges, having seen the videos really helps out, even when I have to go to books or help files for answers. Just having seen the tutorials, and gone through the examples, gives me a big leg up. I highly recommend Janine's videos, and all the Total Training DVDs, to anyone as a good, affordable substitute to classroom instruction. Formal classes can be quite expensive, inconvenient, and can only move as fast as the slowest student in the class. DVDs are at-home convenient, and can be worked through on your own schedule and at your own pace (even in your pajamas!). Not to mention that renting rather than buying is quite a bargain. The quality of instruction on all the DVDs I have rented has been excellent. They are great!
