This is a must-see set. Robin Hopper is an excellent teacher. These DVDs are packed with valuable information ranging from the esthetics and techniques of various methods.
Hopper is great. I love his style. Nothing he does is out of reach. Very inspirational.
Of all the videos out there, Hopper's (all of them) are the best.
EXCELLENT Video - I rented both Disc 1 and Disc 2 - they contain some very basic and some very unique as well as more advanced techniques for decorating your pottery pieces. I would recommend these videos to anyone interested in getting away from the everyday glazed look.
I enjoyed Making Marks and Beginning Throwing with Robin Hopper. This was my first rental with SmartFlix. I've already recommended SmartFlix to several of my friends!
Making Marks: Ceramic Surface Decoration is one of the better advanced decorating techniques recording I've seen...Some good ideas, some new ideas (for me). It's clear, fast paced and interesting.
