Pretty informative, but I think he gets mixed up when describing headspace at "point three or point four" which is three tenths or four tenths. I think the correct measurement is three or four "thousandths".
Another hit from AGI!! John Bush gives a very thorough instruction of building this rifle. From parts selection, to building different receivers (stamped vs cast)the information contained on this video is very helpful!! If you're contemplating building one of these, this video should be on you're required tool list!!
Informative and nice enough that I am thinking about purchasing it. They talk about the different receiver options and show some really cool tricks but the final build is with an aluminum receiver; this means they don't show a key step of welding the trunnion.
I recommend it and will be trying the armorer's course soon.
Video is informative but it skips a lot of needed info such as trigger group dissassembly and re-assemble. Also it is mostly about using an aluminum receiver not a stamped steel receiver like most of them on the market, most of the information needed to properly weld in the cocking tube and trunion, attaching the front sight and pinning the new barrel into the trunion are skipped completely. If you are building our first HK it is worth watching but be prepared to spend a lot of time on the net searching for all the information you will need.
