very good videos. Inspired me to take classes at local craft center. Wish Revere had a school on East Coast.
VERY nicely put together video. Professionally done to the n'th degree. Rio Grande has got production of these types of videos down pat! The close-ups were crystal clear and everything was laid out for the viewer. The pace was slow enough to help beginners keep pace, but not so slow as to put the viewer to sleep (although Revere's voice and tempo are a little hypnotic LOL). I really enjoyed it and plan to make this ring as soon as my studio is finished.
This was my first instructional dvd by this author, and it was very good. Not too fast, but not too slow either. I have had a basic course in jewelery making so the process was not new to me; but this session explained "why" things are done the way they are, which was lacking in my course due to time constraints. I do have one complaint - Mr. Revere only explains how to measure for the length of a ring based on his book - the complete novice might therefore imagine that you have to purchase his book in order to make rings. Not so. Having said this, I will rent more of these dvds by Mr. Revere, and purchase the ones I especially like.
