Great! Instructions are very clear. I would have liked to see some shots of the palette.
Was very interesting in seeing someone work on cardstock. The information was incomplete. She needed to have the examples in various stages of completion so the cards could dry. It was OK but not great Sybil Herron
I really enjoyed this instruction, and it was done quite professionally. The addition of Christmas music in the background added to the fun!
This was a nice surprise for me. I didn't know much about this artist. Now I will remember his name! He's very good, and instructions were clear. I will probably rent this one again......or, even buy one for my collection. I wish he had another one!
This was an excellent video. If you want to learn how to paint beautiful Holiday cards, but always thought you couldn't this is the video for you. Susie, uses a Credit Card to paint trees, easy to fellow. I got so much out of this video. I'm not very good with Watercolor, but after this video, I can now paint cards for any occasion. The only thing she did not explain was her palette or the kind of brushes she used. However, its easy to fellow her palette, was mostly greens, reds, blue & yellow, so don't let that keep you from getting this video. Susie, is a great teacher. Happy painting! Linda C
Susie Short is very good as an instructor and painter. I enjoyed this DVD and found some of her suggestions and techniques helpful. Would have like to have seen it go for a longer time... maybe another 20 minutes but we get the gist of it all with what she offered. Thanks, Smartflix!!
I enjoyed this DVD. A great way to start with watercolors though it didn't go into too much detail on paints, brushes or papers. They way she applies colors was fascinating and the blending just really touched off the the final product. I highly recommend this if you like watercolors and want to start out on a small scale..
This DVD got me started in watercolor painting. I had to know more. The inspiration totally inspired by this DVD. I would have like to know more about prep layout ie: paints, colors, palette, brushes, etc. Having done some research on my own, I can now learn from the DVD even more.... Thanks for providing it. I highly recommended it for any beginner..
