The rendering of clowns, particularly of the killer or psycho variety, are a growing trend in kustom painting. There's something for everyone in this instructional DVD, including how to employ brilliant color, how to render a variety of textures, use of kandies, realistic fire, highlighting, and much more. Integrate what you learn here into your own inimitable -and even demented- creativity and style, and you'll find the possibilities are endless.

This is one of the best videos I've seen yet, and I've rented most of the ones offered here. His use of colors and form is incredible, also some very helpful tips on repairing mistakes and methods for spraying. Trully one of the best in the business
This is a great video. The illusion of textures he uses in his artwork is really good. definitly worth the rental fee.
I knew that Javier Soto was good, I met him first at the Airbrush Action Get-a-way. I never knew he was that good though....He does clean work, and is very knowledgeable in the use of the airbrush, color, techniques, and overall know how, which he shares with you in this DVD! Fantastic! I'd rent it again!
Thanks, Technical Video Rental!
Great video! Well worth renting. I would recommend it to any airbrusher.
It's a cool video. I picked up a few tips that I didn't know as well as different techniques on stuff I did know. On a 1 to 10, I give this video a 8.
Excellent dvd! I would HIGHLY reccomend this one to anyone even remotely interested in airbrushing.
Great DVD! Good stencil design tricks and awesome painting.
Great copy, found very useful information. This is one of the best step by step demonstrations I have seen by far.
WOW! This video is incredible. Javier Soto is the master of free style airbrush. I'm a big fan of Craig Fraser, but this guy is a real master on his own. It look so easy. I would recomend this DVD.
This video was full of very useful information and great techniques used by Javier Soto. He is an awesome painter and very good teacher. I recommend this video to anyone who wants to learn about the lighting effects and illumination of characters using an airbrush.
Very good how to video. Thorough start to finish for how to paint a Killer Klown.
Really good video. He takes you from beginning to end, uses both opaque and transparent, charges through mistakes (paint splattering onto art), and has a style all his own. Definitely worth it.
This video was well thought out and informative. The full range from beginning to end, including shading, color selection, lighting effects and even repairing mistakes. Excellent.
This dvd is outstanding but the klown is very hard and you must have talent to be able to do the klown. The artist is outstanding as well.
This one was off the hook...great camera work, nice close ups,he really explains when, where, and why he does the layering of colors and gets you to use these techniques on any other projects. I'm just a newb to air brushing..and have rented other videos, but got so much more from this one ,hope he does some others; I would rent them for sure....
Mr. Soto's DVD was excellent. It was easy to follow and very informational. The DVD had great quality video and sound. Thanks
This is the first time renting from SmartFlix and I would definitely recommend this video. Javier is a very talented artist and it shows everything in great close ups. I am just a beginner but you can take a lot out of this video and put it to work for you. Mike N.
I have rented several airbrush videos here and I liked this one the best. Javier Soto is just a regular guy. I like his approach better than Cross Eyed. His use of color is fantastic. I would rent anything from him. I will try Cybergirl video next. Great stuff. I really loved it and so did my brother. He is a professional graphic artist and was really impressed by the video.
This is a great video. It covers layers or shades and tones very well. Even if you are not into painting dark images like this you will find it invaluable. One of the best parts of the tutorial is when Soto makes a huge mistake and then shows you how to fix it correctly, a very humbling moment. This video gives you great insight into three dimensional shading and color transitions. Highly recommended.
